GAME #2 RECAP AND THOUGHTS

Week #2 brought a rivalry matchup with Bill and his Sophie's Choice squad.  What a game it was.  As a matter of fact, I thought I lost this game for most of the week.  Apparently there was a scoring correction at some point during the week, subtracting 1.5 points from the bad guys total which made the final score 191.5 - 190.5 TMP.  Only two unbeaten teams left after two weeks.  This guy is one of them.  Yup.

I was cursing the MNF game as this contest was obviously coming right down to the wire.  Bill had AJ Green going, I had the Steelers defense.  Thankfully Green didn't go off as usual or the score wouldn't have been close.  But the Steelers had no sacks, no turnovers.  They had opportunities to pick off at least a couple balls but couldn't hold onto them.  So they are on short notice.  Pittsburgh just hasn't looked like their usual self after two games, on either side of the ball.

It's good to come away with a win, especially considering the circumstances, but there is some concern in the TMP camp.  Obviously, the team defense is one, but I'm thinking I'm gonna stream the matchups the rest of the season.  Somebody has to play the Jags each week.  The main concern though is at WR.  What was originally thought of as a strength is a little shaky considering the health of both Larry Fitzgerald and Roddy White.  Need to gets them both healthy, then the TMP train will be rolling.  Hopefully it happens in week #3 against Sean and his Killin' And Grillin' squad.  He stands 1-1 on the year but has scored the most points so the matchup will be a tough one.
